Benefits of Sardines

Sardines are one of the world’s most nutrient-dense, bang-for-your-buck foods.

They provide an incredible source of:

• Vitamin B3
• Vitamin B12
• Vitamin D
• Protein
• Omega-3
• Calcium
• Phosphorus
• Selenium
• Iodine
• Copper
• Choline

Sardines are super straight out of the can. I like the brand Raincoast Trading which packs wild sardines in water. However, if that doesn’t appeal to you, try this recipe or consider another fish from the “SMASH” list (Salmon, Mackerel, Anchovies, Sardines and Herring) which are all good choices of fish.

Sardines are also very versatile. Use them as a salad topper, a side dish, snack tray or the main event. You can use any spices or flavors you like as to your taste.
And it’s fast enough to make that, I call it a “fast food”.

Let me know if it’s a go, in the comments section below…
