Marsha Fenwick’s Philosophy
Marsha Fenwick is a Clinical Nutritionist in Toronto who is passionate about the impact of food on your health. Marsha utilizes the power of food to help optimize your health and can improve the symptoms of disease and illness by addressing root causes. Marsha will create a sustainable, realistic nutrition and lifestyle plan based on each client’s needs.
Marsha Fenwick’s Background
Marsha is not your typical nutritionist. Marsha began her 20-year career in healthcare as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, caring for prematurely born children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and with adults at the Women’s College Hospital in Toronto. She continued her studies and earned her certifications as a Registered Nutritional Consultant Practitioner, Certified Nutritional Practitioner, and Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner. She is also a member of the Nutritional Practitioners Council of Canada.
Marsha has completed First Line Therapy, a proven program that incorporates personal lifestyle medicine involving changes such as healthy nutrition, nutritional protocols, exercise, and stress management.
Marsha’s interest in Holistic Nutrition began with changes in her own health. In her mid-forties, Marsha began experiencing sugar cravings, insomnia, weight gain and bloating – the same unpleasant symptoms that affect many women with hormone imbalances. Marsha began studying at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition where she learned how the food we eat has direct effects on our bodies, specifically causing chronic inflammation and the symptoms of many diseases and illnesses.
By addressing the root causes of her symptoms with proper nutrition and lifestyle improvements, she experienced a complete transformation in her overall health. Thrilled by the benefits of Holistic Nutrition, Marsha decided to share her knowledge with others.
