Romantic Valentine’s Day Meal That’s Healthy Too!

There is nothing more romantic than cooking a meal for your loved one. So, this Valentine’s Day, you can make a meal that’s delicious and nutritious.  Follow these easy steps and you’re on your way to making a 3 course meal that your partner will not forget!

Valentines Meal

Appetizer: Colourful Beet Salad

Start with a simple salad and mix together these ingredients:

  • Mixed Greens
  • Orange Slices
  • Beets
  • Feta Cheese
  • Apple Cider Dressing

Entree:  Razzle Dazzle Rainbow Wraps

Ingredients:

  • Sliced Cucumbers
  • Carrots
  • Romaine
  • Avocado
  • Cilantro
  • Any protein you like – e.g. tempeh, chicken, beef

Top with edible flowers for décor, because who doesn’t like flowers on Valentine’s Day?!

Chocolate Chia Pudding

Dessert:  Chocolate Chia Pudding

Ingredients:

    • 1 ripe avocado
    • 3 tbsp cacao powder
    • ¼ cup honey
    • 2 tbsp chia seeds
    • ¾ to 1 cup water
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • ½ tsp cinnamon
    • Pinch of sea salt

Put all of the ingredients in a bowl. Blend all of the ingredients together using a high powered blender. Chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or for 10 minutes in a freezer.
