For many of you who have known me from my past, I seriously use to be that afternoon junkie, going for a Kit Kat or Oh Henry bar from the refrigerator or a handful of wine gums. Since crossing over to the healthy side for the past 8 years, I have been having fun creating some new afternoon treats, snacks, or fun ways to incorporate fruit or sweets with a healthy twist.

Healthy Bananas Treats

Cut into thirds and coat with coconut or non-dairy yogurt with pomegranate seeds, nut butter of choice and a handful of coconut chips, carob, cacao chips, or melted dark chocolate covered with hemp seeds, chia seeds or other seeds of choice. *See image above.

Healthy Apples Treats

Slice apples like bagel thins and spread with nut butter, coconut flakes, cinnamon, and chocolate chips… so satiating and scrumptious.

Please enjoy and hope you will try some of these ideas!
